Now it's New Zealand's turn!
It’s all about sex, drugs and rock’n’roll at a Sticky Fingers gig. The Sydney band, who performed a run of consecutive sold out shows in Australia during 2014 and gave it their all over the New Year period at BW Summer Festival, sending the 11,000 strong crowd into a frenzy with their powerful stage presence, wicked tunes and killer personalities.
Sticky Fingers are a melting pot of psych, rock, reggae, & bourbon. They’ll hypnotise you into a swaying trance, then punch you in the face for dancing like a hippy. This contradictory smash of flavours speaks to every walk of life, and it’s this multiplicity that makes the world their oyster. It all began when the group of friends met a 15 year old Dylan Frost busking outside a pub in Newtown. In 2010, they first gathered attention by unofficially headlining a festival from an improvised stage built in their adjoining backyard. Stickies dropped their debut album ‘Caress Your Soul’ in 2013 followed by their much anticipated sophomore album 'Land of Pleasure’ in 2014.
2015 has started strong for the band with 3 tracks in the Triple J Hottest 100 with single ‘Gold Snafu’ reaching the top 20.
