MKTO Announce New Zealand Concert at Pepsi Party House
International pop stars MKTO have announced a free one-off New Zealand concert, at the first party at the Pepsi Party House on the 4th of May in Auckland.
The concert, which is free, has only a limited number of tickets available and comes with a twist. Fans will need to solve a series of clues laid out by Pepsi and MKTO in order to secure one of 400 tickets to the gig. From today, fans will need to listen to 91ZM and check outwww.pepsipartyhouse.co.nz to find the clues, and get solving. But they’ll need to be in quick, because once tickets are gone, they’re gone!
Not only that, but the concert is a teen only zone, with tickets restricted to those aged between 15 and 18 years old. Pepsi recognises there are very few places that are just for teens and have designed the Pepsi Party House to be a place that teens can call their own. The alcohol-free gig will be an unforgettable experience for Kiwi teens to see MKTO perform live at a gig just for them.
The free concert is set to take place at an undisclosed location, which will be revealed to attendees once they have secured themselves a ticket.
This exclusive gig is the first of three epic parties planned at the Pepsi Party House this year. The series will take the country by storm as it rolls out over the rest of the year, with two more massive events in the works.
MKTO, the duo made up of Malcolm Kelley and Tony Oller, struck big with their self-titled debut album, MKTO, when it hit number six in the New Zealand charts in February this year. Their hits include platinum certified Thank You and Classic, and their gold certified hit God Only Knows. Earlier this year they were nominated for “Catchiest New Song” at the Radio Disney Music Awards for Classic. Their debut album ‘MKTO’ is out now and features their new single American Dream.
To get your chance to head along to the only New Zealand MKTO concert, hit up www.pepsipartyhouse.co.nz and listen to 91ZM. MKTO have also released a video about their upcoming trip here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRFpjb65_ZA
