Spring into Paris

It's springtime in Paris - and the Hotel R de Paris is celebrating with a room rate discounted by 45 per cent to $261-a-night throughout April. The 4-star hotel is luxurious and offers a full service spa, sauna and rooms that range from a royal suite to a deluxe with two beds. Barge into things

Head to the South of France and barge-boat yourselves along the Canal Du Midi for seven nights, from Argens. Priced from $694 each, twin-share, the package comes with equipment and insurance, navigation toll, gas bottle, captain's handbook, boat handling instructions and orientation, plus eight days' technical assistance.

The barges must depart on set dates between April 7 and 14. Airfares from New Zealand are additional.

Yes we Cancun

A cultural experience-style holiday that's also value for money is a five-night stay in Cancun, Mexico - with the return airfares to get you there from Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch. Priced from $2199 each, twin-share, this package is for travel from November 3 to 24, and must be booked by March 28. It includes accommodation, all meals, snacks, local beverages, activities and entertainment.

Phenomenal Phnom Penh

Twenty days touring through Vietnam and Cambodia and staying in four-star accommodation, is priced from $5499 each, with return flights from Auckland, from $5699 for travel from Wellington and from $5899, for travel from Christchurch.

ANZAC camaraderie combines with a dash of trans-Tasman rivalry at Peppers Parehua Martinborough over the ANZAC long weekend. Guests can sample and compare selected New Zealand and Australian wines in a lighthearted "Wine Wars" evening, where Australian wine critic Nick Stock will adjudicate over a wine matched five-course degustation dinner on April 26. Take the high road

Student Flights has a 14-day tour from Nepal into Tibet, departing Kathmandu and taking in Lhasa, Gyantse, Shigatse, Sakya, Rombuk, Lao Tingri and Zhangmu.
