SUPER 14 SET TO INTRODUCE TOP SIX PLAYOFFS (18/7/2008)
PLAYOFFS: Rugby’s Super 14 is set to introduce a top six playoffs series next year. The Sanzar (South Africa, New Zealand and Australia) partners today proposed expanding the playoffs in 2009 as a portent of predicted bigger changes to come after that. They are to take the concept back to their individual nations for consideration. It appears unlikely that any of the three countries will oppose the development as administrators seek ways to increase interest in the competition.... more>
