Tactix Tickets On Sale Monday at Noon   5 Dec 2014

Mainland Tactix Netball fans are being encouraged to purchase their tickets early to get the best seats ahead of what promises to be another thrilling instalment of the ANZ Championship in 2015. Tickets go on sale at midday on Monday 8th December for all five matches in Christchurch through Ticketek – click here. Tickets for the two Blenheim matches will go on sale in January. Membership packages are also available for the Mainland Tactix.

The return of star shooter Mwai Kumwenda and the inclusion of Silver Ferns shooter Bailey Mes and former Australian Diamonds defender Demelza Fellowes into the team for the 2015 season are sure to make it the most exciting season yet. And let’s not forget the team will be under the guidance of new coach Sue Hawkins, so expectations are high for a competitive and thrilling season.

The newly named Horncastle Arena will host five home games starting on Monday March 2, against the Northern Mystics followed by home games against the Central Pulse, Southern Steel, Adelaide Thunderbirds and Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic.

The Mainland Tactix are also taking ANZ Championship Netball to Blenheim for the first time in the league’s history with tickets expected to sell out quickly at Marlborough Lines Stadium 2000. Games in Blenheim against the West Coast Fever and Queensland Firebirds will be tight contests and local fans will get their chance to get up close and personal with some of their favourite Netballers.

The team are already in pre-season training with the bulk of the squad settled into their Christchurch base with Kumwenda due to join the line-up in January from Malawi.

Support from local fans is expected to be strong with the type of Netball Tactix put out on court each week of the season, that never-say-die attitude and giving it their all for the entire 60 minutes of the match.
