Northlane – Support Acts Announced for New Zealand Shows in November

NORTHLANE is returning to New Zealand for the first time in three years this November and has just confirmed two support acts.

New Zealand hardcore act Saving Grace and Aussie rockers The Brave will open forNorthlane at their shows in Auckland on November 24 and in Wellington on November 25.

Since Northlane was last here in 2013, the Sydney lads have grown into one of Australia’s most successful heavy music exports. Upon its release in July 2015, their third albumNODE raced straight to the top of the ARIA Chart, debuting at #1 and landing them the ARIA Award for Best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal album.

Revered by media around the world, NODE scored the coveted feature album on triple j, a guest host spot on iconic ABC television program Rage and two Blunt Magazine covers in six months. Alternative Press nominated Northlane for the ‘Best New Band’ award at the 2015 APMAs and they earned a second Metal Hammer Golden Gods ‘Best Music Video’ nomination for Node’s first single ‘Rot’.

Northlane has kept the momentum pumping in 2016 with appearances on the European festival circuit, wowing crowds at Slam Dunk, Impericon Festivals, Groezrock, Graspop and Southside, as well as selling out their own headline shows throughout the continent. In April this year, Northlane dropped a surprise collaboration EP called EQUINOX with the best mates In Hearts Wake and slayed massive stages around Australia, playing to thousands of people on the biggest Australian tour of their career, with sold out shows in Brisbane and Sydney.

Since their humble Kiwi beginnings in 2005, Saving Grace has gone onto share stages and tour with some of the world’s finest hardcore and metal acts. With a strong international touring history, coupled with hard-work, dedication and an ever-growing fan-base, Saving Grace has earned the reputation as one of Australasia’s most successful spirit-filled hardcore acts.

Formed in 2013, The Brave from Brisbane came together with a single goal in mind – to make music to move people. The 2014 EP ENDLESS turned heads across Australia, and since then they have been refining their aspirant melodies and thudding riffs into their debut album EPOCH.

Northlane, supported by Saving Grace and The Brave, will play at the Kings Arms in Auckland on November 24 and San Fran in Wellington on November 25.
