on Robbie Williams Wellington Show,
Alongside the Uk’s Lawson!
At the end of this month, Wellington will be abuzz with excitement as the iconic Basin Reserve gears up for what will be a Halloween to remember!
With just over three weeks to go until Robbie Williams hits the stage for his first New Zealand show on his Let Me Entertain You tour at Wellingtons’ Basin Reserve,
Chugg Entertainment are pleased to confirm that Avalanche City will join the already announced UK four-piece Lawson as Robbie’s special guests.
Currently on tour in Australia, one of New Zealand’s favourite folk musicians Dave Baxter (Avalanche City) will bring the music from recent album - WE ARE FOR THE WILD PLACES - to life,
and is looking forward to performing songs from the new album with his touring band. Fans can also expect to hear his record-breaking 5 x Platinum single ‘Love, Love, Love’
off his critically acclaimed LP from 2011 ‘New Life Above Ground’, which saw him win the highly esteemed APRA Silver Scroll songwriting award for 2012.
WE ARE FOR THE WILD PLACES recently debuted at #3 on the Official Top 40 Albums Chart and peaked at #1 on the iTunes album chart.
The album’s beautiful first single, ‘Inside Out’ has been certified platinum, a chart and radio smash hit, peaking at #1 on airplay and sales charts.
Second single ‘Keep Finding A Way’ is swiftly climbing the radio airplay charts after major adds across the networks, and is currently enjoying full rotation on The Hits, ZM, More FM and The Edge.
WE ARE FOR THE WILD PLACES is available from iTunes
Being added to the line-up for Robbie’s Let Me Entertain You Basin Reserve show will undoubtedly be a major tour highlight for Avalanche City, providing a fantastic culmination
to what is shaping up to be a highly successful run of Australasian shows through October.
Lawson recently returned from a yearlong break with their new single, Roads, released in Australasia in March 2015.
The second single from the band’s upcoming self-titled album, Under the Sun is out now, with the album to be released today.
Tickets are on sale now and selling extremely quickly! Be quick or miss out!
