Whittaker’s stars in All Blacks pack
Whittaker’s top-selling 5 Roll Refined Creamy Milk Blocks and Mini Slab share packs together with its iconic Peanut Slabs will shed their traditional gold packaging and be donning black to show support for the All Blacks in their quest for glory this year.
Marketing Manager Holly Whittaker said Whittaker’s was originally approached about teaming-up with the All Blacks after both were named in the top five in Colmar Brunton's 2014 Most Loved Kiwi Brands survey.
“As a proud New Zealand company, we’re big fans of the All Blacks and New Zealand Rugby, so we were delighted to take up the opportunity to show our support for the All Blacks by donning black – just like kiwi supporters will be by wearing All Blacks jerseys during the games.”
“Founded in 1896, Whittaker’s chocolate would have been available when our national rugby team originally became known as the All Blacks. Over 100 years later we are now sharing our passion for the All Blacks with Whittaker’s chocolate lovers through the special edition packaging.”
Whittaker’s special edition All Blacks selection consists of Peanut Slabs, Peanut Slab Multi Packs, 5 Roll Refined Creamy Milk Blocks and Creamy Milk Mini Slab share packs. For a bit of added fun, Mini Slabs have the All Blacks’ jersey numbers on them so people can pick by their favourite player’s number.
“The whole team at Whittaker’s wish the All Blacks all the best in their pursuit of success,” said Holly Whittaker.
