Super Sponsorship Means It’s a Win-Win for Fans and the Teams This Investec Super Rugby Season
PlaceMakers 25K Game Day
Auckland, 2 February 2015 – PlaceMakers are aiming to make a lucky bunch of Super Rugby fans $25,000 richer through their 25K Game Day promotion, while also supporting the New Zealand Super Rugby teams by encouraging more Kiwis along to a game.
Launching today, the promotion will see $25,000 up for grabs at every New Zealand-based Investec Super Rugby game, with a total possible prize pool of over 1 million dollars across the season.
Rugby lovers simply need to head into PlaceMakers and make a qualifying purchase in store, where they’ll be given a yellow 25K Game Day hard hat with instructions that show customers how to register an online profile. Once that is done, it’s all about earning entries and getting to the game to have a chance to win the big $25,000 prize.
If for some reason Game Day hard hat wearing rugby fans can’t make it to the game or it is an overseas match featuring a New Zealand based team, there is still a chance to win $1000 from the comfort of the couch.
Brand Engagement Manager Maria Reinbergen says the 25K Game Day promotion was a natural fit for PlaceMakers, as the official community partner of the New Zealand Super Rugby teams.
“PlaceMakers knows there’s nothing like being right at the heart of the action. Making each and every New Zealand based Super Rugby game a 25K Game Day will give fans even more reason to experience the excitement of live rugby and support their teams. This promotion is a completely new approach for us and we hope it will help draw bigger crowds to rugby games. That’s a real win for everyone,” says Maria.
