Get Set for world-class hospitality and entertainment at the NZ Festival of Tennis

After an incredibly successful inaugural year, the NZ Festival of Tennis is set to wow the senses for another year, with its announcement of a world-class hospitality and entertainment line-up. So for Aucklanders heading back to work, it’s the perfect place to knock off early, grab a Heineken and a bite to eat, and watch some of the world’s best tennis players in action.

The festival’s partnership with SkyCity Catering is now in its second year, with the 2015 offering ensuring there won’t be a disappointed taste bud in the house. Throughout the venue, guests can treat themselves to a plethora of dishes, with the most exciting addition being a winning pairing of MASU by Nic Watt, and the ever-popularMoët & Chandon Champagne Lounge. The collaboration between Moët & Chandon and Masu invites spectators to indulge in a range of culinary dishes expertly matched to a range of Moët & Chandon champagnes.The Grill by Sean Connolly returns for 2015, delighting Heineken Baseline punters with their Wagyu burger; while Auckland foodies will be excited to find Al Brown’s Best Ugly Bagels are back for another year. Furthermore, corporate suite guests will be treated to a stunning degustation menu from Sean Connolly’s, Gusto at the Grand.

The Heineken Baseline live-site is a festival-favourite for those who prefer to to watch the world’s best tennis players on a big screen with a Heineken in hand. It’s a great place to soak up the sun, and listen to some of NZ’s hottest DJ’s including Dick Johnson, Aroha, Clarke Gayford, Maya Vanya, Isaac Aesili and Dean Campbell – all for just $20!

A must-do on the Auckland summer calendar, the Heineken Baseline After Party returns for its seventh instalment for 2015, kicking off on Saturday January 17th at the conclusion of the Heineken Open finals. It’s the place where tennis and music collide, bringing together an epic array of local and international artists and a sell-out crowd to celebrate two weeks of premium summer entertainment.

Leading the charge on the line-up is Australian ARIA-winning EDM duo Peking Duk, guaranteed to elevate the party with their high-energy electro jams and notorious live antics. Joining them are psychedelic-soul merchantsElectric Wire Hustle fresh from releasing their acclaimed sophomore album Love Can Prevail; local indie R&B heroes Jupiter Project dropping their unique blend of electronica; dream-pop starlet Chelsea Jade (formerly Watercolours) on the back of stand-out showcase performances in USA and Japan; as well as Dan Aux, the Auckland based Australian DJ and King Of The Mixtape known for unleashing genre-bending EDM sets.

The NZ Festival of Tennis is a celebration of tennis, and the great Kiwi Summer, anchored by two marquee events, the ASB Classic and the Heineken Open. The 2015 event is set to wow tennis fans, as it welcomes some of the world’s best tennis players to Auckland including Venus Williams, Caroline Wozniacki, Gael Monfils and David Ferrer.
