All Blacks Tours wins Fastest Growing Retail or Consumer Products Business for Auckland and the Upper North Island
While the All Blacks continue to win trophies and excel on the field, so too are their official supporter tour company. All Blacks Tours has been named as the Fastest Growing Retail or Consumer Products Business for Auckland and the Upper North Island in the NZ Deloitte Fast 50 Awards.
The company has also been named one of the 50 fastest growing companies in New Zealand and was a finalist in the Rising Star category in the 2015 competition.
The Auckland-based travel business runs supporter tours to every All Blacks game and provides fan experiences for more than 2,500 fans each year.
The company also provided more than 4,000 official travel packages for Kiwi fans supporting the All Blacks at Rugby World Cup 2015 and is the official travel agency for DHL Lions Series 2017.
As the official travel agency for NZ Rugby and the All Blacks, All Blacks Tours provides fans with exclusive access to the All Blacks environment including training sessions and events with players and management.
All Blacks Tours General Manager, David Caldwell, says the business has seen great growth since it began trading in December 2012, and this is expected to continue with a number of big rugby events on the calendar over the next three years.
“Kiwis are passionate supporters of the All Blacks, and following the success of the team in 2011 and 2015, many fans have wanted to experience an overseas tour first-hand.
“Alongside tours to Argentina, South Africa, Chicago and Europe, there are some exciting events on the horizon including the DHL NZ Lions Series 2017 and Rugby World Cup in Japan in 2019.”
All Blacks Tours was required to submit comprehensive financial data and the executive team presented the business to the judging panel.
The final rankings of the national Fast 50 index, the national category winners and the rising star winner will be revealed at the Deloitte Festival of Fast Growth in Auckland on November 4.
